Local farms, farm stands, and u-pick farms in Central Florida
Food Farms helps you find food grown close to home in Central Florida. We're starting with plain guides on how farm visits work, and we're building a directory of local farms one listing at a time, beginning with farms we can confirm.
Buying straight from a farm usually means fresher produce, a chance to ask the grower how it was raised, and money that stays in the community. It also takes a little planning. Small farms keep short hours, sell out, and change what they offer with the weather and the season.

- How u-pick farms work and what to bring covers hours, pricing by weight or container, and what to pack for kids.
- How to find farm stands near you explains where to look, how to check a stand is open, and how to buy so you get the best of the harvest.
The farm directory
The directory is new and growing. Our first listing is Coastal Greens Farm, an aquaponics and microgreens farm in Florida. Full disclosure: the author of this site runs it, so we know its details first-hand. We list other farms only after the farm confirms its own information with us.
